Floating WaterColor…..

I taught the ladies how to make gorgeous roses using the Floating Watercolor Reinker technique. We experimented with white and black outlines (the embossed part). You can find a complete tutorial on Patty’s Stamping Spot. The technique calls for white embossing, but we wanted to see what Black embossing would do. So I used the black craft ink and black detail embossing powder for some of the flowers. Here are the creations from my stampers…. Good job stampers!! I let them go through my pieces of dp and scraps to make up their own card. It was sort of different from normal classes as I usually had all pieces cut for them and a “specific” layout for them to follow. I made one sample and let them create their own. I think they all did wonderful!! There are even 3 more cards of my daughters that didn’t get into the pictures. I’ll have to sneak over and photograph them while she’s not looking… she loves pinks.. so you can guess what colors she used!!Enjoy..and please comment on the cards….
