Highdesert Stamper – Artistic Inkspirations

I had seen several little boxes online at various blogs where they made a box with the top note die cut for the top and bottom flaps. I had a template for a 3.5×3.5 box that also made a lid, so I adpated the size to make a 3×3 box that would fit underneath the top note cut out.

Here is what the box looks like to start, including the flap I created to hold the lid to the box

Then I attached the Good Morning sunshine paper to the sides of the main box, and glued the flap inside the back side.

Attach the top (decorated lid) and bottom with adhesive of choice..gluing the top lid to the flap.

Add decorated (trimmed) design paper to inside of lid.

Add desired embellishments and string around a brad to hold lid shut if desired.

I am going to make another, using a different type of box for the middle. So check back soon!!

Sorry I haven’t posted any new cards.. but I had a little accident. I fell backwards down a small flight of steps and hit my shoulder and head… not to mention jolted my body to where I ached all over for about 2 wks.. But after several chiropractic adjustments, and some therapy… I am getting back to be able to get up and down those stupid stairs to my stamp room!! Don’t you hate it when the place you love to be is “down some stairs” that you have trouble maneuvering!!! But I hope to get the pics of the cards some stampers did last Sunday posted here soon. … Meanwhile, I am “very carefully” going up and down those stairs…
