Su gave us a unique die that makes a “rounded” basket and a tag with blooms. I have made several of these, and quite frankly, the bottom is not too easy to get on the basket. It’s sort of like when sewing…. and making arm sleeves and gathering all the fabric into the sleeve on a very curved edge…you have a lot of little “slits” that ease the fabric in. The same technique is used for the bottom of the basket…. lots of snips into the round edge of the bottom piece to ease it into the long edge of the basket. If you have this die, you’ll understand. It took me several tries getting these bottoms together. Here are some pictures of my original “round ” baskets.
These were made quite some time ago. Well, there have been several who have taken that die and modified the basket to make a squarish basket, avoiding the “round” bottom, and making it a bit easier to assemble. I watched Angie’s video here on Chicnscratch, then made my own baskets. I made one for me as a model, and one for my friend Karen.

After viewing Andrea’s tutorial, I made the Christmas pocket cards first, then the two fall ones posted earlier. So here are the Christmas ones. These were run through the crimper as shown in her tutorial. After finishing the cards I wanted to try the reindeer box I saw on another post from Ellen Kemper.

Here is a different look for the little pocket card I did with graveyard gala stamp set. This one uses the new Autumn Days stamp set and Autumn Meadows DSP. I used the leaves to make a border along the top. The large leaves are sizzix die cuts. I am “creating” a tutorial to post to show you how to get all the leaf veining and texture.. so check back later this week!! (Have to have someone hold the camera while I do the “magic” )!
