Black, white, and grey Birthday card

I just got the filigree background stamp and wanted to do something using it in a muted tone. I chose black, white, and going grey to make a special birthday card for a friend. I didn’t want something too “frilly”, as this was for a guy. :)   Comments? Did I put enough pizazz into it?? Too frilly?? what do you think? One is a close up to show the embossed medallion. If you click on each picture a couple of times, you’ll get a nice close up of the card.

  1. I love black and white cards, Connie! the Basic Gray is a fabulous addiition too! Very pretty.

  2. Great card for a guy. The guys are always so hard. What about vintage pewter brads instead of gold?…
