Highdesert Stamper – Artistic Inkspirations

Well..some of you have heard my woes about my jeep… it seems this vehicle is getting older than I am faster…. I had to put ANOTHER new computer in it last fall… and today driving home from my FIRST physical therapy pool exercises it decided to crap out again on me!!  This time it’s acting like a fuel sensor or fuel line or something. It went from 1/4 tank (and there was 3/4 tank earlier this week and I’ve only driven about 25 miles), to empty and started dinging at me… and the fuel light came on… it sputtered and sputtered and choked and stalled out driving down the road. I managed to pull over and then got it started again for a bit… .then the gas needle went back to 1/4 tank… drove a little, then it did it again.. sputtered and quit. I managed to get to a parking lot and called a tow truck to take it to the local jeep repair shop. So… I guess there goes my pool physical therapy…. I don’t know when it will get fixed or how much it will cost.  Please all pray good thoughts that it’s not too much!! I really need to do the pool therapy to be able to strengthen my knees to walk good again and hold all my stamping classes.  I would like to get a newer vehicle…it seems they don’t make them as good as in the 50′s and 60′s.. My brother had a 51 Dodge that got over 35 mpg…. so why can’t they make a plain ol’ gasoline engine like that anymore??  Here’s a pic of what my jeep looks like.. This is not mine, but same color, same year.. mine has 167,000 miles.. and feeling everyone of them!!

Anyone know where I could get a good car for cheap!!?? It seems every time I’ve had this one in the shop lately it’s cost a bundle.. though up until then, there was virtually no major repairs!! Maybe hitting that 150K mark did it in??
