Birds and Butterflies….retiring SU colors

While making all my cards with the watercolor trio stamp set… I wanted to include a bird. So I used some of the Ruby Red cardstock I had “smooch spritzed” with the new gold smooch spray for the body, and dsp from SAB to punch out the wings.

Butterflies and Birds

Recipe: Stamp set: Watercolor Trio (summer mini)

Cardstock and inks: Ruby red, certainly celery, Crushed curry, very vanilla, gold smooch spray (butterflies, bird)

Techniques: overstamping with multiple colors, punches, Beautiful Wings sizzix embosslit, hand dyed ribbon, crop-a-dile, Lattice embossing folder

All products can still be ordered. There is a new red coming in July which I think might replace the RUBY RED very nicely. I can’t wait to get my new colors!!

I will be bundling up my stamp pads, markers, ink refills and matching cardstock in sets to sell, once the new catalog is released.

I recruited a new person in March, so I will be getting MY new catalog NEXT WEEK!!! I CANT WAIT!!

  1. Congrats on your new recruit, Connie. Are you going to introduce her on your blog? Thanks for all the smooched butterflies and birds. I’m inspired. What is the gold on the butterfly’s body?
