Sketch Frenzy Friday…. June 11th.. Happy Birthday USA!
Since it’s getting close to the 4th of July, I wanted to do something with stars, using the negative punch out I saw it on a post from Michelle Singer in the LNS group earlier this week. She used the small star punch (retiring), then punched out the star using the scallop square.. what a neat idea!! But I had to do RED/WHITE/BLUE version for our Great Nation’s Birthday coming up. Hope you like it!!

Here’s my take on it: My stripes are strips of Real red cardstock glued onto the white background. The large star is our larger star punch which is NOT retiring.

Here’s a close up of the star… and yes, I had to add some extra bling and used the vanilla smooch spray just across the top of the card.
I have used the small star punch which is retiring….so this is the last month you can purchase it. The chunky glitter is staying.. I love this chunky glitter, it’s much easier to clean up!!
