Here’s the sketch for this week:
I love doing these sketches… Most of the design work is done for you!! All you have to do is pick some colors and a stamp set. The layout is all ready for you to add your own creative touch to! I love the new IN-COLORS this year, (though I’ve loved the prior years too), and the new BLUSHING BRIDE pink goes so well with Rich Razzelberry. Tell me what you think? I used a new stamp set called Crosses of Hope. It has 3 different crosses and I chose the larger one because I thought it went with the designer paper better. AND.. did you know we have a stamp that matches the design in the designer papers almost EXACTLY???!!! Take a look at the little stamp I have in the second picture..it’s from Circle Circus. I laid it on top of the In-color designer paper (you can get this free as a hostess gift) in blushing bride. The design is almost a perfect match. I think SU probably planned it that way. They are so great about coordinating stamps and papers to make our job easier!! If you click on each image it will open larger in a new window. This Design is ONLY available in the Hostess Level I pack of paper!! It’s not one included in the big multi packs! So hold a class or workshop and earn yours free!
Here’s a close up of where I used the circle circus stamp on the background behind the cross.
Here are the stamp sets use: Crosses of Hope, Word Play, Circle Circus
Card stock, ink, and ribbon: Blushing bride, Rich razzelberry, basic black, whisper white; Rich Razzelberry 1/8″ taffeta ribbon, Blushing Bride poly twill ribbon; Mini flower punch from punch trio; Black brads
