Well.. I got so carried away working on the other website, I almost forgot to post my pictures HERE for the Creative-Sketches challenge!! That would not be a good thing!
We had to do a SKETCH and a HOLIDAY theme this week. Since it’s close to Thanksgiving, and I’ve been working with fall colors, I chose to do a Thanksgiving card with PUMPKINS!! I love pumpkins….love carving them, baking them, using them in stews, and of course, ON CARDS! I used the new Old Olive Satin ribbon with the “zig zag ” technique Kimberly Van Diepen showed on a video on her site. It’s super easy to do and adds SO much to the card! Here’s my card and a close up so you can see the detail of the ribbon and buttons. Be sure to leave a comment to be in the drawing to receive THIS CARD.
here’s a close up…………………..isnt’ that ribbon cool!!!

Thank you Connie for stopping by my blog. I so love this card. I could never get my ribbon to look like that in a million years (yes, I have tried it many times — but never looks like yours). The whole layout of your card is very beautiful.
