I have a ton of paper from other projects and other sources, that I have “collected” over the years. I guess you might say I collect pretty papers. I had wanted to do something with this set of papers for a while, so I combined it with some Stampin UP Rich Razzleberry, Close to Cocoa (ret), and Baja Breeze to make this little embellished squash book. I decorated the front with a row of “leaves” from our bird punch, the eyelet ribbon border, some punched flowers and pearls, and a few scrolls from a sizzix die. I included some of the scroll punches and scallop circles on the inside, leaving the main part free so photos could be inserted under the scrolls.
I was amazed how well the SU colors matched this paper, like they were made for it! Pear Pizazz was also used for one of the scrolls, and all the leaves. I used Rich Razzleberry satin ribbon and the 1/8″ old olive taffeta ribbon. Size of the book is 6×6, which is perfect for using up some of those designer papers you’ve been hording!!
Since the pages are all 6×6, it’s difficult to get the whole picture in…. so you can see a little of how the pages inside are embellished just a touch.

What a beautiful combination of color and design. You’ve really got a creative and artistic knack for making these books!
