I took an Altered Art class where we created a canvas with painting, stamping, various painting techniques, added textured embellishments, etc. Here is the canvas. This could be done for any ocassion. It makes a really nice wall art piece.
This was really fun to make. I will be making a new design for a local class to be held in March.
What do you think? There's a little bit of everything on this canvas… all those embellishments you stuff in drawers to do something with some day!! There are handmade felt flowers, crocheted flowers (from our SU CLEARANCE RACK), zippers, lace, paint, wood, inks, burlap, etc.
I'll take some more pictures so you can see how the sides of the canvas were painted in a unique design. I have been trying to get over the "crud" that is going around… so haven't been out in my studio to do much for the past 4 wks!!
