I had to make some cards..to give away for my BLOG CANDY…. if you didn’t get in on it… Tonight at midnight is the deadline…
So I wanted to use yellows, golds, celery, reds… I chose RUBY RED (soon to retire, one of my fav reds), CRUSHED CURRY (also retiring), and Certainly Celery. I guess I had so many flowers on the cardstock I was stamping….the butterflies couldn’t figure out where to land… What do you think? I did manage to throw in some DUSTY DURANGO (retiring), and some SAGE SHADOW. I also used the new Smooch spray in GOLD. Love the effect… but I sure am using it up quick!! I found if you smooch some cardstock and then let it dry and run it through the bigshot…you get these gilded butterflies.!!!

Oh where to land!!
The above card was created using all the “leftovers” from using the smooch spray… There was so much residue in the box where I sprayed the cards, I just laid the white card stock down into the spray and smushed it around… it gives that mottled distressed look. This one was the Dusty Durango back and butterflies, and hand dyed ribbon.

5 1/2 hours later......
