Set of Accessories:

You can order all these products from my online store HERE. Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to come back to get the Tutorial for my Halloween Frugal Scrapbook. I will be posting the link for it later this week. I am re-working it into a Holiday/Christmas version.  Thanks again, be sure to leave a comment.

Here’s how I decorated two of my stockings, really quickly… I’m for quick and easy!! I used some scraps I had from previous sets of Designer paper for the tops and toes of the stockings. I punched out the HOLLY leaves and berries from the Holiday Accessories die and added some of the new Dazzling Details for some bling. All the Stockings can be made DOUBLE, making them into a gift stocking! The ideas are endless!

More….Creative Elements

Sorry I haven’t had any cards up recently…. I hurt my right knee and couldn’t get down the steps to my stamp room.. So here’s the results of the past couple days. I tend to work on one stamp set at a time…before putting everything away….and then getting EVERYTHING out again. So I’ve used up some other retired papers that are the same color palette as the Baja Breeze, Pool Party, Island Indigo, and then complemented with Early Espresso and Sahara Sand.  I created the “scalloped medallion” by punching the large scallop circle, then going back with the hole punch and punching out the border holes. It gives a nice affect.  Sometimes…the scraps you work with “just don’t fit”… so I make them fit by cutting and adding pieces to create a whole different look….that’s how the “triangle ” shapes came about..

Creating the holes in the scallop circle:

Here’s my group of cards in BLUES and Browns.. some of these are being sent out as Birthday and Anniversay cards to the MidwestStampers group…so if your birthday is this month….you may receive one of these!! I also have some others …..they were just so fun to make!!

So next time you want a certain “look”… get out those punches and make it what you want!!

Stamp sets: Creative Elements; Ink and Paper: Island Indigo, Baja Breeze, Early Espresso, Whisper White, RET Dsp , new lacey border punch, 2 1/2″ scallop circle punch, 1/8″ hole punch, ticket corner punch, Sponges, Dazzling details, Sizzix flourishes die;
