Autumn… leaves and scraps…

Nov 15th, 2009 Posted in Challenges, FALL & Thanksgiving, WORK AT HOME | one comment »

I was going  through some of my retired papers and things, and ran across some cards I had made with a previous halloween paper.  I used it to make a couple of Autumn themed cards. I know we all have some of those retired papers and stamps laying around, just dying to be used… so here’s my Autumn cards… The same thing could be done with the new Autumn Splendor or Leaf Lines sets. Both  have gorgeous leaves. Email me your redo using these new sets and I will post them!!

Wandering words…..

Nov 9th, 2009 Posted in Big Shot Ideas, Christmas Cards & Pages, Die Cuts, FALL & Thanksgiving, Holiday Mini 2009 | no comment »

I had the ladies at my Sunday stamper group make two different cards using the Wandering Words stamp set from the Holiday mini. I used the Santa’s sleigh card from Andrea’s tutorial, and changed up the Thanksgiving version shown in this month’s Stampin Success.  Here are some samples of what my stampers created (of course they weren’t like my original… at least they were similar). I gave each one two different types of striped paper for the Thanksgiving card.. one from Tall Tales and one from the Old Olive DSP.

This one used the Old Olive paper. Leaves are from sizzix.. buttons from the old earth elements button collection.
