Highdesert Stamper – Artistic Inkspirations

We had a technique class this past weekend….making some spotlights.. Love the ON THE GROW set …. only 2 more weeks to get this set before it’s gone for the year. Here are two of the pretty cards the ladies made.

We made 4 different cards… two watercolored with the bouquet of flowers and two with the little Vespa. Come back later this week to see the Vespa’s. One of these uses a “spotlight” of the flowers from the bouquet. Hope you enjoy.

I had to case my friend Sharon’s card using the new Delicate Doilies stamp set, but I don’t have any of the same sets from the new catty she has, so I substituted UPSY DAISY and changed the colors a bit.  Here’s my version with the new Doily stamp set, lace punch and some added touches.

You don’t always have to have ALL the new toys to make a similar card to someone elses… I loved her colors and use of the Doily…so had to do something similar. This is one card my stampers will be making tomorrow in their Sunday Stamp Class. Upsy Daisy has been around a couple of years and is a very versatile set.
