More scrunchy flowers on purses..

Apr 30th, 2010 Posted in 3-D Items, Big Shot Ideas, BOOKS & Boxes, Die Cuts, Featured Projects, Mothers Day, Paper Flowers | Comments Off

I have a project going.. to make 20 of these little purses for a local shop. I have 5 “done”, and 14 more cut out and partially done. So here’s the progress…pictures. I used various papers, mainly the sweet pea and the papers from this years Sale-a-bration for most of the flowers. Some of the flowers have the 8 petal flower from the Sizzix die Blossom party. The rest of the parts of the flower were punched using the circle scallop punch.  Enjoy..and don’t forget to leave a comment!!

The above picture is what my space looks like when punching and cutting and creating all these little gems. Then.. you have to clean it all off to start all over!!

Ready for Mothers Day…. product carry over….

Apr 24th, 2010 Posted in Card Classes, Daily Post, Mothers Day | Comments Off

I have added a page showing all the products being carried over from previous Mini flyers to the current sales periods. Please check this page if you need to look for some of these items that ARE STILL FOR SALE and not showing in your current sales mini flyer. The NEW SUMMER MINI has been mailed and you should have received it this week!!

Just check the LIST to the right of this post for all those items, Sale items, classes, etc.

This month’s Sunday stamp class will meet the 1st Sunday (2 May 2010)  instead of the 2nd Sunday (9 May 2010)  due to Mother’s Day falling on the 2nd Sunday. My schedule is on my SU website.

Have you made your Mothers Day cards and have them ready to go?? If not.. we’re having a “FINISH UP THOSE PROJECTS” day tomorrow. Come on over and stamp with us!  Here’s a suggestion for a Mothers Day card using the Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp set.  This was one we did last year about this time.. and all you need to do is change the saying!! If you don’t have the baja breeze buttons, you can use any other color!! I’ve also included some pink versions here for you.

Lavender Lace RETIRING COLOR!

Apr 12th, 2010 Posted in Die Cuts, Mothers Day | Comments Off

Here is a card we did at our stamp class this last week. I wanted to use some of the retiring colors… so stampers can see how beautiful they are.

We used this as a Mothers Day card, but it can equally be used as a birthday or all occasion card.

Punches are a quick and easy way to add interest, dimension, and color to your cards, tags, and scrapbook pages. You can glue punched shapes directly onto your projects or layer a sheet of card stock that has been punched over a coordinating card stock for a reverse effect. The 5-Petal Flower punch coordinates with the In the Spotlight and Ginormous Flowers stamp sets. It also coordinates with the On Board Blossoms & Basics and Cutie Pie Designer Series paper.
