Flower Pots and paper…..

Apr 24th, 2009 Posted in 3-D Items, Floral Cards, Mothers Day | one comment »

I’ve seen these cute little flower pots all over the web, so I had my stamp class make some this past week. I had them make two different variations. One had the embossed flowers with buttons added to the middle. The other used the Daisy Bigshot die cut for the flowers. Leaves were punched from large oval and run through the crimper tool, and some were 2 of the petals from the 5 petal flower punch.  I even gave them a 3rd option of stamping the base flower pot (shown in the pictures) instead of covering it with paper. The flowers are attached to a note card that comes out as part of the card. They all had a great time. Some put so many flowers, they would have had to use an oversize card!! So if you make one of these, please check your envelope size!! Tutorial for this flower pot is found here on SCS by Stephanie Luman. Good job Stephanie!!
