Flower Fancy Scrapbook and card

I will be teaching a new class in March. This will feature the Flower Fancy stamp set and “progressive” scrapbook pages. To sign up for this class, email me @ prairiestamper@gmail.com or highdesertstamper@gmail.com. This will be a fast paced class with several techniques.

Need a cute little box to tuck something special in for that special Mom? Here’s one that uses a SU scrappin kit.

Thinking of You Box

Paper

2 Sweet Simply Scrappin’

Accessories & Tools

Kiwi Kiss 5/8″ striped grosgrain ribbon
Button Latte
Stampin’ Dimensionals
Sticky Strip
Scallop Edge punch
1-3/4″ Circle punch
Crochet thread
Wire

Instructions

Cut box from Pale Plum textured card stock using pattern.
Scallop top edge of box using Scallop Edge punch, and assemble box.
Wrap wide Basic Gray self-adhesive strip around box.
Tie Kiwi Kiss 5/8″ striped grosgrain ribbon around box.
Punch circle from Elegant Eggplant textured card stock using 1-3/4″ Circle punch. Adhere thinking of you self-adhesive circle to center of card stock circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere to box.
Create flowers by layering self-adhesive die cut pieces, popping up the flower centers using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Thread crochet thread through holes of Whisper White button, and adhere button to center of one flower.
Adhere flowers to wire stems, using Sticky Strip to secure flowers to wire. Do not peel second piece of backing from Sticky Strip. Tuck flowers inside box.

Flower Pots and paper…..

I’ve seen these cute little flower pots all over the web, so I had my stamp class make some this past week. I had them make two different variations. One had the embossed flowers with buttons added to the middle. The other used the Daisy Bigshot die cut for the flowers. Leaves were punched from large oval and run through the crimper tool, and some were 2 of the petals from the 5 petal flower punch. I even gave them a 3rd option of stamping the base flower pot (shown in the pictures) instead of covering it with paper. The flowers are attached to a note card that comes out as part of the card. They all had a great time. Some put so many flowers, they would have had to use an oversize card!! So if you make one of these, please check your envelope size!!
