This week the Creative-Sketch challenge is all about COLORS!! Such beautiful fall colors too!! But I’ll have to admit…. I did a booboo… I started with the correct colors, then though… hey..those arent’ right… and changed my red color.. So here’s the color palette… and my card follows.

Here is my card, laid out on two different color mats… the background color actually made the card look different with the lighting. One picture shows up the “dazzle bling” I added to the Dahlia flowers.

On this picture if you click on it.. you can see where I added the “dazzle details” (a new product SU has!) Also..the “flourish” is a base of marina mist sponged with basic grey.

Stamp set used was the Creative-Elements set I have been using quite a bit recently. Paper is from the new WELL WORN collection. I did change the red from Cherry Cobbler to Poppy Parade (thinking I had the wrong color), it actually went better with the designer paper… I’ll have to write things down..before going down to my stamp room next time!! I usually take a picture of the sketch so I don’t mess that up…. but I really thought I had the right colors!!  One of these days I’ll get my old laptop fixed so I can just put it in my stamp room and bring up the picture to look at. ….until then…… we all make mistakes. But sometimes the mistakes are happy accidents!!

We had a technique class this past weekend….making some spotlights.. Love the ON THE GROW set …. only 2 more weeks to get this set before it’s gone for the year. Here are two of the pretty cards the ladies made.

We made 4 different cards… two watercolored with the bouquet of flowers and two with the little Vespa. Come back later this week to see the Vespa’s. One of these uses a “spotlight” of the flowers from the bouquet. Hope you enjoy.
