Coloring with Markers

Apr 17th, 2010 Posted in Special Announcements, Special Techniques, Watercoloring | no comment »

Have you seen cards where the images are all different colors… and you wonder how they did that? The trick is using your StampinUP markers to color the images how you want them, then “huff” on them and stamp!! It’s easy as that.

Using-markers

Technique A: Multiple Colors

1]   Use a marker to apply ink only to the desired parts of the image.

2]   Add other colors if desired.

3]   Breathe on the inked image to re-moisten the ink with your breath before stamping onto paper. (this is the “huffing” technique)

Technique B: Omitting

1]   To omit a certain part of a stamp image, use a marker to apply ink only to the desired parts of the image.

2]   Breathe on the inked image to re-moisten the ink with your breath before stamping onto paper.
