Countryside Watercolors….

Jun 13th, 2011 Posted in Card Classes, Watercoloring | Comments Off

This week some of our stampers worked with the Countryside set and watercolors. I think they have really done a FANTASTIC job in their watercoloring!! Here are a few of their creations.

These kinds of cards are suitable for birthdays and Father’s Day… I had a request to teach some masculine cards and all had fun and went home with 4 beautiful cards each. I’ll post the other style of card they did later in the week.

If you are in the Albuquerque area and would like to learn a technique, you can schedule a class for that technique. Just email me for more info at “highdesertstamper@gmail.com”  ..

Thanks for stopping by.

Don’t forget to go cast your vote for your favorite HOPE and Strength card here. I will close off the voting June 15th.

Necklace from Windowpanes..

I made one of these a while back, but had some birthdays coming up, so I made these two little adorable necklaces for a special young person. I hope she enjoys them. I used two different alphabets for the initials; Lovely Letters and Just Perfect Alphabet (all lower case smaller letters). Stamped on some of the designer papers and chose to use the 1/4″ grosgrain ribbon on these since they’re heavier and can stand up to more abuse!!

There is a button from the Sew Suites collection on this one because the recipient is a “budding fashion designer”.. so had to put something to do with sewing on the necklace…it attached to the tiny safety pin (tiny trinkets) that I hooked the key onto.

Here’s the previous one I made several months ago.
