I saw a card on one of the groups. I didn’t have the border stamp, but wanted to use the Thoughts and Prayers stamp for it’s beautiful bough image on an ALL Green card. So I changed some things around and here’s what me and my stampers came up with. Some chose to use the St Paddy’s day “GO GREEN” stamp and make it a ST Paddy’s day card. The others were Birthday and other occasions. I used the Dots embossing folder for the background mat. I did use the new Celery Satin ribbon on my demo card. The brads in the corner added that little “something” you always need to add to set it off a bit.
Here’s my sample card I made for the gals:

Here’s how one of the gals added a butterfly (I was showing them the Butterfly Embossing sizzlit) and they grabbed the samples and added them to their cards.

Stamps and Supplies: Thoughts and Prayers , Go Green, Well Scripted stamp sets;
Cardstock and ink: Certainly celery, Mellow Moss, Old Olive, Whisper White;
SAB Scallop border punch
Celery Satin ribbon, sponging, Delicate Dots embossing folder; SU Writer markers in Celery, Glorious green, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive,
Gold Brads, Scallop Oval Punch

I taught this class last weekend to several ladies. They all enjoyed making the butterflies. The pattern called for using a hand drawn template, but when looking at the Butterflies in our SU Bigshot Beautful Butterflies, the sizes were all the same except for the largest one on the bog. So I cut out all the flutterbys using our Bigshot. ( I like flutterby better than Butterfly). Then I decided to make them in a few different colors to see how they would look. So I have posted my variations also. They turn out a big “bold”.. with all the glitter. Comments?

This is the larger butterfly on the purse/tote.

Original color (Pretty in Pink with Close to Cocoa) with alternate color (Pink Passion with Lovely Lilac)
Stamped envelopes

All colors: From left to right: Pink Passion w/Lovelylilac, More mustard w/BarelyBanana, Pretty in Pink w/close to cocoa, Lovely Lilac w/Pink Passion
If interested in making these, you can buy the tutorial from Ilina Crouse on her blog . I recommend you use the Bigshot dies to cut out the butterflies and save your customers some work!! Or let them cut them out so they know how easy the bigshot makes your card making!!
Please leave a comment and have a wonderful day!!

Our Sunday stampers had fun today making a nice long shopping list, a fun coaster calendar and some tags (the ones demo’d by Andrea on her blog). If you didn’t sign up for her newsletter, you won’t be able to see the video. Here are some samples I was able to take a picture of before my stamper left with all her goodies!
