My stampers had fun making some cards using the new Apothecary Art stamp set and the Labels Framelits, two new products available in our 2012 Occasions Mini flyer that is NOW available!! I’m so glad we now have nested sizzlits for the Bigshot!! I tried several different colors in stamping and coloring the design.

Here’s one where I colored the background with the Saffron maker. Don’t you love to color!! It reminds me of when we were kids and given NEW crayons or a new coloring book.. I LOVE NEW stamps and stamping “tools” such as the new sizzlits!!

This one has the plain background. The pretty paper is some that is going to be available FREE to anyone purchasing a min $50 order during Sale-a-Bration that begins 24 Jan!! I also colored the stamp with markers in Wild Wasabi and some Melon Mambo before stamping.. then filled in with pretty in pink for the flowers.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!! Please leave a comment……else how will I know you stopped by??  Be sure to stop by again… I’ve been going through all my stash and will be offering a BLOG CANDY bundle soon!!  You can purchase any of the new items right HERE.

Too cold to stamp…..so baked…

Dec 10th, 2011 Posted in ALBUQUERQUE RUBBER STAMPING, FOOD, Gifts | Comments Off

It was still too cold in my stamp room today.. I wanted to get out there and put things away, take some pics, clean off the table, create some new things… but 61 deg and arthritis don’t go too well together. SO I made some Chocolate crescent cookies (very similar to the little Russian tea cakes I used to make only these had chocolate along with all the ground almonds and butter).. and I made some cinnamon rolls. I have been craving cinnamon rolls!! I mixed up my bread dough.. and it took forever to rise… my kitchen was too cold.  So.. after a few hours they doubled, so I started rolling out the dough to make the rolls. I only have a very small space to work, so had to make the rolls in batches.. then put them all on a baking pan and baked them. I finished them off with an Almond glaze instead of the traditional vanilla glaze. The taste reminded me of the “bear claws” we get at a local bakery. But so yummy!!! Here they are.. before they were eaten on!!

They didn’t rise as much as I would have liked… but they sure taste good!! My mail man will be getting a few in his Christmas box of cookies (if there are any left by Monday!!)

I’ll try to go retrieve the photos of my bamboo pages and get them posted later.. so be sure to come back!!

I am also working on new things for a January class. Hearts and Flowers!!

I told her to get there early… there are only 27 available!! But we will have lots of other blingy pretty Holiday items for sale. So if you’re in the Albuquerque area.. come by Grace Church at 6901 San Antonio NE, Sat Nov 5 from 9am to 3pm.

Here’s a sneak peek of some of the glitz and bling!!

Stop by my ETSY shop for handmade items, and I have reduced the prices on my WEBSTORE.

Be sure to leave a comment to get in the mix for a MYSTERY KIT! I have changed the  plugins on the website, so you’ll have to answer a simple math question to be able to leave a comment. This keeps all those SPYBOTS at bay!!
