More Jolliest trees

I had borrowed a friend’s stamp to make some Christmas cards. Here are some more of those cute little easy cards.. using up some of my retired organdy ribbons…. heated to scrunch them up some, then scrunched up more when applied to the card.

I also used some of the smooch spray over the front of the card to go with the yellow. Tree is embellished with dazzling details and some crystal effects.

Here is another color version, using paper and ribbon instead of just ribbon. If you want to make some quick cards.. here’s the answer!! Stamp the image, color it with a few markers, add some paper and ribbon trim, spritz it and let it dry!!

Christmas is coming… and I love this time of year. I used to collect SNOWMEN of all kinds…. soft sculpted ones, glass, wood, clay, ornaments… everything I saw in snowmen… I also have a couple Snowmen stamps, but I had to borrow this stamp set… Jolliest Time of the Year from a friend to make these cards. Every fall I say.. I’m going to get that stamp, but think..it will retire and I’ll only be able to use it a short time… So when a fellow demo brought it over to show me… I was so delighted to be able to use it.  These two cards will be a special bonus project for our Holiday Stamp a Stack being held this weekend. I still have a couple more slots  for each day.. So if you’re in the Albuquerque area and would like to make a bunch of Christmas cards…. email me QUICK!!

Here are my two sample cards. I cased a card made by Sharon in Washington state.. She is also using this set in her stamp a stack!! GMTA!! I chose to use the Snowman (go figure), and the little Christmas tree in different colors.

I used some crystal effects and dazzling details to decorate the tree. I also used the color spritzer with my pacific point marker to add some splatters to the card. Other colors are Riding hood Red, Naturals ivory, Pear Pizazz and Baja Breeze (I blended the green and blue on the tree limbs), Daffodil Delight (the garland around the tree). The ribbon is Riding hood Red taffeta.

My second card …my little snowman is done in blues and lavender colors. The torn paper is Marina Mist and Wisteria Wonder. I painted (with markers) the snowman with Baja breeze, Marina mist, Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie (the carrot nose), then added some crystal effects for the snow he’s throwing around. The ribbon is the new Marina Mist polka dot scalloped ribbon.

You can order ALL the items to make these cards ONLINE HERE, 24/7. When you place an order for the stamps, inks, paper, and ribbon to make these cards… email me and I’ll send you the instructions!
