We had our annual Christmas stamp a stack this past weekend. I made some gift bags for the gals to put their cards in. Today I am showing the gift bags… tomorrow you’ll see the cards. I was showing my stampclub how the new stencils work, by sponging/daubing Eggplant and lavender ink on the cover of a journal I had bought. I shadowed the lavender after I had already sponged on the eggplant. Then I decided that white ink would look nice on kraft, so the back got all white craft ink with the stencil. This is a very easy way to make a quick gift for a friend!!

Our First Date page (8-1/2″ x 8-1/2″)
1. Use Cheep Talk Décor Stencils and stamping sponges to color desired number of Bashful Blue circles on Bashful Blue textured page.
2. Inside of each circle, color a smaller circle with VersaMark ink using sponge daubers and stencil. Apply Bashful Blue Stampin’ Pastels to circles using sponge daubers.
3. Stamp dotted circle image repeatedly in VersaMark ink on Garden Green card stock (4″ x 4-1/4″). Adhere Whisper White card stock (4″ x 3/4″) behind Garden Green card stock and adhere to page.
4. Stamp dotted circle image in VersaMark ink on Rich Razzleberry card stock (8-1/2″ x 2-1/2″) and apply Dazzling Diamonds Stampin’ Glitter to circle. Adhere card stock to page.
5. Wrap Rich Razzleberry 1/2″ polka-dot grosgrain ribbon around page, and adhere ends to back of page.
6. Cut title from Whisper White card stock using Sizzix Big Shot and Go Go Boots Alphabet Set Sizzlits die. Adhere title to page. Adhere Clear Rhinestone brad above “I.”
7. Tie ribbon in a knot around tickets and adhere to page.
8. Cut circle from Bashful Blue card stock using Circle Scissor Plus. Cut same size circle from Rich Razzleberry card stock, and cut out center to create ring. Adhere Rich Razzleberry ring to Bashful Blue circle, and adhere to page. Trim circle to match edge of page and journal with Garden Green Stampin’ Write marker.
Add a fun, natural image anywhere using our Cheep Talk stencils. With bold bird images and a branch for them to sit on, your little tykes will love these chatty birds. This stencil also coordinates with the Cheep Talk stamp set.
